Kennedy Table Conservation Bank
Live Oak Associates assisted the client in establishing a federally approved (U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service) conservation bank on a 600-acre site on Kennedy Table, Madera County.
Work included vernal pool mapping, site surveys for state and federally listed threatened and endangered plants and animals occurring in vernal pools of the site, preparation of a site management plan, assistance with the preparation of various banking documents, calculation of the required endowment for the bank using the Property Analysis Record (PAR) software, and participation in extensive consultations with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. Live Oak Associates continues to conduct periodic monitoring of the biological resources preserved on the site.
